What can I cook in a Tagine?
Tagines are used to slow-cook foods at low heat. The conical shape of the tagine lid, helps retain moisture of the meat.
Traditionally you would cook Moroccan dishes like Chicken Chermula or Lamb Tagine. Basically any type of meat with broth and vegetables are good in tagine.
You can also cook a whole chicken in your tagine and you will find there is better flavor and moisture retention within the dish compared to cooking in roaster or Dutch oven.
Plenty of options for vegetarian dishes as well.
