1 Lovelock Drive isn’t your traditional romance, chick-lit novel. This “fiction” book (as we will loosely call it) began as an online blog for author Ellen McRae, taking from her personal life to deliver saucy gossip from the Melbourne streets.

With the stories collated in one place, this debut novel is closer to a memoir than fiction. It’s a handbook for understanding romance, friendship and success in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
