18 x bifold door hardware repair kit
Step 1 -
Option 1: If the pivot door is on the left, the top pivot is inserted into the pre-drilled hole on the top left of the door panel.
Option 2: If the pivot door is on the right, the top pivot is inserted into the pre-drilled hole on the right side of the top of the door panel.
Note: We offer metal and plastic top pivots, metal pivots are recommended. If the pre-drilled holes are a bit small, you can choose the plastic top pivot.
Step 2 - Insert the guide wheel into the other hole pre-drilled at the top of the guide door.
Step 3 - Insert the bottom pivot into the pre-drilled hole on the same side of the bottom edge as the top pivot.
Step 4 - Measure the position of the bottom bracket so that it corresponds with the drilled hole where the top pivot be installed. Screw the bottom bracket to the corresponding jamb and floor.
Step 5 - Adjust the height of the door by lifting the door panel and turning the threaded rod of the bottom pivot. Insert the bottom and top pivots into the bottom and top brackets respectively.
Step 6 - Adjust the top bracket inside the track into place and secure it with the screws on the top bracket.
