- Target Species: When it comes to the target species, soft plastic shad and soft plastic swim bait are a sure-fire way to catch Flathead, Flounder, Trevally, Estuary Perch, Australian Bass, Trout, Jewfish and Snapper. They're also great for pelagics when they're less active or in less pressured conditions, like Kingies, Australian Salmons and Queenies. They're more sensitive in urban areas and inshore compared to off-shore. This split-tail minnow is finesse enough to feed most of the common species in Australia.
- Selected Colour and Matetrial: The colours are chosen to suit different levels of clarity. In clear water, natural baitfish colours are more common, while brighter colours are better in cloudy or murky water. The split-tail is made with high-quality PVC to make sure it's stretchy enough. The slim tail moves around a lot to look like a real fish. We also add a blueberry scent to mask human body odour.
- Techniques:Fluke bait is great for all sorts of lure techniques, like jerking, twitching, bouncing at the bottom, darting, drop-shotting. The darting motion is extremely effective in fast-flowing currents. Try twitching it when the fish are feeding. And drop-shotting is great when the fish are hiding in structures.
