Ovulation test strip consistently shows a weak positive result:

1. Firstly, consider whether there might be errors in the way you are conducting the test. Correct operation involves inserting the test strip into the urine to a depth not exceeding the MAX line, keeping it there for about three seconds, then removing it and laying it flat for 5 minutes.

2. Check if there are any issues with how you are storing the ovulation test strips. They should be kept at room temperature, away from extreme temperatures. Before use, ensure the test strip has not been exposed to moisture or touched the reaction membrane. Once removed, use the strip immediately. Do not use strips that have expired.

3. Improper collection of urine could also be a significant reason for consistently seeing a weak positive result. To avoid diluting the urine sample, reduce fluid intake in the two hours leading up to urine collection, as diluted urine can interfere with detecting the LH peak. It is not recommended to use the first-morning urine sample for ovulation testing.

Ovulation is a complex physiological process, and the presence of an LH peak does not always ovulation. Even if ovulation occurs after detecting the LH peak and having intercourse at the right time, if pregnancy does not happen after three months, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
