1.Press the two buttons on the sides of the trimmer head to remove the white cover
2.Take out the empty trimmer head spool
3.Thread the line through the holes and place the new line spool inside, pushing it into position
4.The grooved section of the white plastic sleeve must be inserted into the correct part inside the head
5.Snap the cover into place, trim off any excess line
