Assembly: The lamp consists of 3 pieces: base, bottle and lid.

1. Plug the base into an outlet and turn on the bulb with the switch.
2. Place the bottle on the base, with the part containing the wax above the bulb.
3. Place the lid on the neck of the bottle.
4. Let it heat until the wax starts to flow. Do not turn off when first lighting before the wax flows entirely, as this may leave wax at the top of the bottle, making future warm-ups longer.

Terms of Use

The first time it is lit the wax takes between 3 and 5 hours to heat up and start pouring. In subsequent uses, the wax will take less time.

The time it takes for the wax to start flowing depends on the ambient temperature. Optimal use is done in a room with a temperature between 22 and 25 ºC.

Do not touch any part of the lamp when it is on or just off, as it reaches very high temperatures to work properly.

Frequently asked questions

Is it normal that it takes so long to heat?

Yes, all lava lamps take time to heat up the first time because the wax in them has never been exposed to heat before. In subsequent uses, the heating time is reduced, provided that the ambient temperature is adequate.

My lava has cloudy liquid, what should I do?

The cloudy liquid is due to a component released by the wax when it is heated. In general, this component dissipates if the lamp remains on. If this does not happen, you can return the lamp to us or contact us to receive a new bottle.

Can I use it to read?

The lava lamp is purely decorative. The light is mood and not intended to be used as a primary source for reading or other tasks requiring intense lighting.

Where can I get light bulbs?

If a bulb burns out, contact us and we will provide you with a new bulb.
