The Sagrada Familia Cathedral, also known as the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, is a large Roman Catholic church located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was designed by Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi (1852-1926).

The Sagrada Familia Cathedral is a Gothic style church with a rectangular plan and an irregular multi column, asymmetrical facade. The main structure consists of 5 halls and 3 side halls. The Sagrada Familia Cathedral was first built in 1882, and Gaudi took over the project in 1883, incorporating his own architectural design style, Gothic and Art Nouveau styles into the construction. Gaudi devoted his later years to the construction of the church, and by the time he passed away at the age of 74 (1926), less than a quarter of the church had been completed. The construction was intermittent during the 1950s. In 2010, the construction process was halfway through, but some of the biggest challenges in the entire construction process remained unresolved. On November 29, 2021, the Notre Dame Cathedral of the Holy Family was topped out, and the lighting ceremony was held on December 8 of the same year. Most of the structures of the tower and church are expected to be completed in 2026, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death; The decoration work is expected to be completed by 2030 or 2032.

The Sagrada Familia Cathedral has become a landmark building in Barcelona with its unique image. In 1984, a part of the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, along with six other architectural works by Gaudi in Barcelona, was selected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
