The BO002CGZ is a compact and lightweight cordless Random Orbit Sander, with 5mm orbit diameter, powered by 40V Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included) and compatible with PDC1200 portable power pack (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, equipped with soft start, variable speed controlled by dial and constant speed control, to deliver 6,000 to 10,000 orbits per minute. The BO002CGZ is compatible with the connector style connector to the battery, designed specifically to reduce the weight in the user’s hand. The BO002CGZ is equipped with electronic type switch, electric brake, anti-restart function, a handle designed to be as close as possible to the sanding surface and hook and loop fastening. The BO002CGZ features auto-start wireless system (AWS) to automatically connect to a compatible M-Class Vacuum Cleaner/Dust Extraction System with Bluetooth; Chip 198900-7 required (sold separately) and can be used as self-dust collection with a dust bag. The cap on the dust bag can be removed with a large lever so the dust can be easily emptied. The BO002CGZ supports a new abrasive type disc; net type. The net type disc has been designed to reduce the chance of getting clogged with dust to allow for continuous operation. These discs are ideal for water based paints and oil finish for improved efficiency. The discs can be attached to the Sander with the hook and loop fastener, allowing them to be used with the current Makita Sanders. The new battery adapter can be connected by inserting the connector to the tool, using a large lever for easy one handed attachment and removal. The pad supplied with the tool can be used with a pad saver disc; attaches between the pad and the abrasive disc by hook and loop fastener to reduce the pad from excessive wear. The BO002CGZ accepts 150mm abrasive disc paper and the connector is available in two cord lengths, 1.6 metre (as standard) and 5 metres (available separately). 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
