How to add to the App:
Note.The garage door will be activated when added successfully (when the blue LED light stop blinking), so keep your door closed first.
1; Power up the garage, and the light will flash.
2. Launch "Smart Life", Tap the icon '+' on the top right corner.
3. Select the "All Devices", then select the "Wi-Fi Connector" type.
4. Tap "Confirm indicator rapidly blink"
5. Input the correct 2.4G Wi-Fi passwords. Then, tap confirm.
6.It will auto-connect with the device. Once the process is completed, it will prompt you that you can rename the device. Enter a new name and press'Save'.
FAQ
● It is not important to the brand of the engine. This smart device is connected in parallel with the existing wall push button.
● The output of this device is impulse dry contact signal. The relay is isolated from the internal circuit of the module. You can hang parallel to the button with any voltage. This gives a short pulse(not a constant pulse) and simulates the pressing button.
● It can work for opening a garage door if you have a one gang wall push button for the garage. This smart device is connected in parallel with the wall push button.
● You don't need to buy a Gateway/Hub for this device, this device connects to the WiFi of the House. But a strong WiFi signal is a must for this device, try to connect your phone to 2.4GHz WiFi signal nearby the engine, if your cellphone can surf the internet very smoothly, then this wifi signal is good. Otherwise, need to use a WiFi signal repeater.
● This is a WiFi only device, it doesn't work with any RF 433Mhz or RF 868Mhz remote.
● This device is not compatible with HomeKit. But you can add Tap-to-Run Scene to Siri Shortcut in smart life app.
