Lahti OULUJÄRVI has been specially developed for the protection of sensitive wooden surfaces in sauna and wellness areas. The product is completely absorbed into the wood without forming a visible layer - it does not change colour or feel and protects the wood from moisture, sweat and dirt in the long term.

Ideal for all sauna wood surfaces: benches, backrests, wall coverings, ceilings, oven borders as well as wooden furniture or wooden panels outside the sauna cabin. OULUJÄRVI is solvent-free, odourless, non-marking and heat-stable - there are no evaporations or residues, even at high temperatures.

The application is very simple: spray, roll or wipe – without masking or protective measures. Excess can be easily removed with a rag. 1 litre is sufficient for 7-10 m² depending on the type of wood. For a cabin with approx. 2.2 x 2.2 m including walls, ceiling and benches we recommend around 1.5 litres.

Application interval: The protective effect should be refreshed annually - in heavily stressed areas such as textile saunas every 3-4 months.

Care with system:
After application, OULUJÄRVI protects the wood permanently. For gentle and effective cleaning after application, we recommend the Lahti products Puruvesi, TAAJUUS and Hygiene - optimally matched to wood protection.

What surfaces can I treat with OULUJÄRVI?
All sauna wood surfaces: benches, backrests, walls, ceilings, stove borders, as well as wooden furniture or wooden panels in the adjacent area.

How does the wood change after application?
Not at all. OULUJÄRVI is fully absorbed, leaves no visible layer and does not change the colour or feel of the wood.

How do I apply the product?
Simply spray on, roll or apply with a cloth. No masking required. Excess amounts can be removed with a dry cloth.

How often should I use OULUJÄRVI?
In home saunas, one application every 12 months is sufficient. In commercial textile saunas, we recommend a refresher every 3-4 months.

How economical is the product?
1 litre is sufficient for 7-10 m² depending on the type of wood. For a standard cabin (2.2 x 2.2 m including walls and ceiling), we recommend approx. 1.5 litres.

Is OULUJÄRVI dangerous or subject to labelling?
No. The product is solvent-free, odourless, not subject to labelling and no hazardous goods. It can be used indoors without hesitation.

What can I use for cleaning after application?
For care after use, we recommend our coordinated special cleaners: Puruvesi, Tajuus and Hygienia.
