Safety Information

Make sure not to overload the timer (The relay is max 10A. Please use resistance load less than 10A, inductive and capacitive load less than 2A.). We suggest plugging the timer directly into a wall socket and then plug your appliance directly into the timer. If you have to use an extension cord, please do not overload the extension cord either.

TIP: When I initially set up my timer, I plugged it in but my modem did not turn on (during the hours j wish to have it on). I changed the timer from AUTO to ON, and the modem came on. I switched the timer back to AUTO, and the modem stayed on and then turned off at my specified time. So if your device appears to not work when you initially set up this timer, try switching from auto to on and back to auto.
