Kubuntu is a special version of Ubuntu with the KDE desktop environment. It is known among the Ubuntu community as the official KDE flavor of Ubuntu Linux. The next-generation KDE Plasma by default Kubuntu features the next-generation KDE Plasma desktop environment by default. It includes all the KDE packages and applications, as well as all the other KDE5 technologies, including KDE Frameworks.
