The Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle is fast, armed, armored and amphibious and Spectrum's most important earthbound combat force. The 25 foot (7.62 m) long SPV is a ten-wheel, two-seater, bulletproof vehicle that can reach speeds of over 200 mph (322 km/h). It has no windscreen and is driven from an aircraft shell seat, with the driver sitting face to him at the back, control of the lightweight multi-purpose motors via TV monitor. The entry into the vehicle is via a sliding side wall in which the driver's seat is located. Each SPV is equipped with revolutionary radars, highly sensitive radios, air conditioning and a proteinised food supply so that the crew can remain completely self-sufficient for long periods of time. The SPV's armament consists of laser cannons, ground-to-air missiles and electrode cannons - the only truly effective anti-Mysteron weapon.
