The Ford Ranger Raptor combines the robustness and operability of other models in the Ranger range with the comfort that drivers and passengers want more used to cars than pick-ups, while also providing the performance and driving fun that enthusiasts enjoy. The Raptor was developed by Ford Performance, a division of Ford known for the development of vehicles with the legendary RS emblem and is powered by a 2-litre bi-turbo Ford Ecoblue diesel that develops a huge torque of 500 Nm that is passed on to the Ranger models of the four-wheel drive. Over a 10 - Speed automatic transmission, so that the right gear is always engaged at the right time, whether in city traffic or off-road. The load capacity and trailer load are lower than the standard ranger, as the chassis has been redesigned and the Raptor is therefore more elegant than its commercial cousins. Coil springs replace the leaf springs that are so common on the rear of pick-ups, and it has cleverly constructed Fox dampers with bypass valves that allow a comfortable ride on a wide range of terrain. The modeled vehicle was the third Raptor that Ford Uk commissioned for press and pr-work, and was the first to be equipped with the striking Raptor sticker pack, a popular optional extra. It was featured in a detailed road test film that Rebecca Jackson presented for the Youtube channel of Cargurus Uk, and in many magazine and newspaper articles as well as in promotional material from Ford.
