Meat Prep:
Cube all of your meat into 1" chunks and run 2/3 of it into a meat grinder.
Once done grinding put all of the meat together (chunks and ground meat in a bowl.)
Add all of the ingredients you like and spices to meat and mix very well.
Put the meat into the meat steamer, put the meat steamer into a pot with water and steam for 2-3 hours.
The thermometer with probe ensures total control over temperature during the stewing process.
It comes with an accurate thermometer that slides into a specially designed holes at the top of the unit so you easily read the temperature without taking the unit out of the water and unscrewing the lid.
Compressing Spring Design
The pressure plate has a large heavy spring and is well made. Works well and keeps good pressure on the meat while being cured and cooked. Make the meat tighter and more chewy, giving the handmade patties a more authentic flavor.

Tips:
-- Do not leave thermometer inside Ham Press during cooking, it can become hot. Check temperature periodically.
-- Do not place ham maker directly on the fire or heating plate!
-- Remove the pressed ham is to run warm water around the outside of the ham maker. Remove the lid. Invert the ham maker onto a plate. The pressed ham will slide out. If it doesn’t slide out, run the ham maker under more warm water and try again.
