The Speedlite EL-5 is the first speedlite flash optimised for the next generation EOS R series multi-function shoe. The Speedlite EL-5 is compatible with EOS R3, EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R7 and EOS R10¹. The Speedlite EL-5's high-speed flash charging of 0.1 to 1.2 sec and 95 times or more continuous flashes, reliably tracks the moment you want to shoot and helps reduce the time delay between photos. Shoot scenes with movement, such as a dancing without missing a beat. The Speedlite EL-5 has been carefully crated with dustproof and moisture-proof sealing to help protect the flash even in difficult shooting conditions. The Speedlite EL-5 is equipped with an AF-assist beam and LED modeling lamps. The LED lamp automatically adjusts the amount of light generated by the AF-assist, so that it is less likely to dazzle the subject you are photographing. This makes it ideal for taking pictures of people at night. The Speedlite EL-5 uses a high-capacity lithium-ion battery power supply with up to 350 continuous flashes. The battery power level can also be clearly displayed on the LCD screen so you can time when the battery needs to be changed or recharged. Most operations can be operated easily by pushing the joystick and selection dial of the Speedlite EL-5. Shortcuts can be assigned to frequently used operations adding to the ease of use.
