Yu Yee Oil is a formula that is over 150 years old that is an Asian family staple medicine box item in any Asian household. Parents swear by it as instant relief for crying children due to colic, indigestion and "trapped wind". By applying Yu Yee Oil on the stomach and abdomen area, it helps the subject expel wind through burping or farting. Another common ailment it provides comfort is for children suffering from cold and flu symptoms. By applying a few drops of Yu Yee Oil on the soles of children's feet, then covering it with thick socks will help the child feel warm. Then apply a few drops to your hand, rubbing them together, and after generating friction heat, massage gently on the chest which helps them to breathe a little easier. Other uses include pain relief for muscular pains, athritis and rheumatism. Cinnamomi cortex (dried bark of Cinnamomum verum) is widely regarded as an important drug in Traditional Korean and Chinese Medicine used to improve blood circulation and Yang Qi. Cloves also provide a synergistic effect with cinnemon to nourish the body by warming the stomach and dispelling cold. Benefit from these known Asian herbs by applying on large muscle groups around the neck, shoulder, elbow, lower back, thighs and knees that are painful. Apart from the therapeutic effects of Yu Yee Oil, it is also very useful as an insect repellant. Flying insects dislike the volatile compounds from peppermint, clove, menthol and nutmeg. Apply Yu Yee Oil generously on areas around outdoor work clothes and enjoy the fragrant aroma while getting protected from insect bites.
