If your barcode has both 1D and 2D barcodes or you need to read barcodes off a screen, such as a computer monitor, smartphone or tablet, this 2D imager scanner is your better choice.

Please NOTE:

1. According to the nature of its camera focus and photographing, the 2D image scanner is not sensitive to read a long 1D bar code.

2. If your main purpose is to scan one-dimensional barcodes longer than 3 inches, this one not suitable for you.

3. Can't scan the High Density PDF417, only scan the common PDF417.
