This remote is compatible with SONIQ Smart TVs that originally came with QT series remotes. If your original remote has the QT166, QT155, or QT138 code on it, this remote will work for your model without any setup.
It does not require an RF dongle or pairing with the TV. While a physical keyboard is not present on the QT1E, a virtual keyboard will appear onscreen when needed. For example, when entering a Wi-Fi password, use the arrow buttons to select the field, then press OK to bring up the virtual keyboard. From there, use the directional arrows and OK button to select each character.
