Product Description
Aeroplane - Stand Oil
Stand Oil
Stand Oil is a polymerised, thicker linseed oil. When mixed with oil colours, stand oil causes them to flow more, thereby minimising brush strokes. It is an excellent painting and glazing medium.
HOW TO USE:
Mix Stand Oil with Turpentine Oil (or mineral spirits) in a 1:2 ratio to make the mixture less thick. Cover the mixture tightly. Let it sit for a few days for it to mix well. While using, pour a small amount of the mixture into a container, and apply on brush while painting.

HOW TO CLEAN PAINT BRUSHES :
Pour linseed oil into a bowl or jar, basically enough to cover, soak and wash the brushes in. Soak the brushes in the oil for several minutes. Pull the brushes from the oil and wrap them in a cloth to continue soaking for a few hours. Wipe off the excess oil with a cloth or paper towel.
HOW TO USE FOR PAINTING : On the canvas, put a little oil on the tip of the brush and spread as much as possible. Remove all lumps on the canvas. Use paper towel to wipe on the canvas and remove all extra oil. You can also mix with paint and apply on canvas.
Note : Do not use excess oil for painting as it will substantially increase the drying time
