Answer: It depends on the product size and the surrounding temperature and humidity. Use hair dryer can speed up the time to dry.

Q: What should I do if unused clay gets dried out?

Answer: Wet your fingers and knead the clay. The clay will turn soft and elastic again. (The color may resolve and stick to your finger at the beginning, but it will be absorbed by the clay after kneading for a while.

Q:How to make BOHS Foam Clay waterproof?

BOHS foam clay is not naturally waterproof. To make it waterproof,here is a few options you can choose:

  1. Apply a varnish or sealant to create a protective layer.
  2. Use waterproof glue to form a moisture barrier.
  3. Add a coat of wax for water resistance.

Q: How to get the clay out of mold intact ?

  1. Clean the mold and let it air dry.
  2. Apply a thin layer of release agent, like talcum powder or cooking oil spray.
  3. Press the foam clay firmly into the mold, filling all details.
  4. Allow the clay to partially dry in the mold, for a few hours or up to a day.
  5. Gently flex the mold and carefully remove the clay when it's firm but slightly pliable.
  6. Place the clay on a non-stick surface to dry completely, taking 24-48 hours.
  7. Sand any rough edges and apply paint or varnish as desired.

How to make butter slime with BOHS FOAM CLAY?

Three Materials Needed:

BOHS Foam Clay(any colors) ,Clear school glue ,Contact lens solution or diluted borax

Instructions:

1. Pour some school glue into a container

2. Add small amount of the contact lens solution or diluted borax to the glue seperately for 3-5 times, stirring constantly .(Stirring the mixture until it starts to come together and form a sticky mass.Knead the mass with your hands until it reaches an elastic and non-sticky texture.)

The key trick is to add the lens solution or diluted borax several times in small amounts.DO NOT pour the solution or diluted borax too much once a time.

3.Take a portion of BOHS Foam Clay (approximately one-third of the volume of the slime), and combine the slime and BOHS Foam Clay, kneading them together until they are fully mixed and have a smooth, buttery texture.

Once you have created your clay slime( butter slime), you can enjoy your new unique creation. Remember to store the slime in an airtight container when not in use to prevent it from drying out.
