The Cisco SFP-10G-T-S is a copper module equipped with RJ45 connectors that is compatible with Cat6/Cat6a Ethernet copper cables and transmits 30m at 10GBASE-T data rates. In addition, the 10 Gbps sfp rj45 module is backward compatible with 1GBASE-T, and intermediate rate 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, providing multi-gigabit Ethernet deployment. The 10G RJ45 module uses the electrical signal to transmit data, allowing an upgrade to 10G by reusing existing copper canling.
