Diary of a seducer is surely the work that has brought Sören Kierkegaard the most fame. A small tribute to the figure of the seducer in the nineteenth-century novel, the "Diary" narrates the relationship between Juan, "the seducer" —ducho in the arts of deception and manipulation — and the naive young Cordelia. However, beyond the literary plot, delving into the psychology of the seducer is nothing more than a beautiful resource that the Danish philosopher will use to reflect on the "aesthetic man." Namely, the man who, trapped by the force of immediacy and sensual enjoyment, wanders through life a victim of his instincts and without being able to see anything around him but a means to satisfy his desires.
