This premium quality 320 micron (or 0.32mm) thick bike frame protection tape will help to keep your bike looking in fantastic condition by protecting it whilst you use it for what it’s designed to do.
We can’t protect you from major damage or dents if you have a complete wipe out with a rock or tree. However, we can help so that general wear and tear will be a thing of the past and minimize any cable rubs, scuffs, chips, rubs, etc. encountered along the way from everyday use.
The tape is easy to apply if you follow some simple rules and tips for optimum performance. Once applied you can clean your bike as normal due to the strong waterproof adhesive and high quality of material used on the top protective vinyl layers.
Installation Instructions
1. Thoroughly clean your bike and ensure it is clear of any dirt, grease, or debris
2. Fully dry your bike
3. Before removing the backing paper cut the length and shape of the tape to create a perfect fit
4. Use the hair dryer to warm the tape. This will help to activate the adhesive and make the tape more pliable to ensure a perfect fit around any angles or curves
5. Remove part of the backing paper and place the first part of the tape onto the surface of your bike
6. Maintain a constant press, work slowly and smooth out any air bubbles as you go along
Top Tips
* Ensure your bike is completely free of dirt, dust and grease
* Warm the tape with a hair dryer to make it pliable
* Do not apply in temperatures below 10C
* Ensure the bike and tape is at room temperature
* The tape is designed to be permanent
* If you remove the tape, use a hair dryer to warm the tape up to assist with removal
* Any residue can be cleaned off with white spirt or rubbing alcohol
