51mm Stainless Steel Filter Basket

If you want to confirm whether the filter basket fits your portafilter or not, the best way is to measure the size of your filter basket directly.

If the inner diameter is 51mm, it is just suitable of the product. If the difference of the outer diameters is not more than 1mm, the product can be used compatibly.

The inner diameter of the Non-pressurized Porous Filter Basket is 51mm,the outer diameter is approximately 52.8 to 53mm.

The depth of 4-cup Filter Basket is 36mm, the depth of 2-cup is 25mm, the depth of 1-cup is 19mm, and the depth of Backflush Blind Filter is 14mm.

Take the original standard 51mm portafilter of Delong EC680/685 as an example.

Because the plastic channel at the bottom of portafilter will cause the lack of the capacity, the filter basket may NOT accommodate to portafilter.

In this case, you can loosen the screws and take out the plastic channel.

Then the original portafilter can easily accommodate to 1-cup, 2-cup and 4-cup filter basket.

How to use Backflush Blind Filter

  1. Remove the Filter Basket, install the Backflush Blind Filter, pour in 5g cleaning powder, and twist the Portafilter into the espresso machine's brewing head.
  2. Press the outlet button for 10 seconds and wait for 10 seconds. Then repeat the actions 3 times.
  3. Unload the Portafilter, pour out the remaining powder, twist the Portafilter into the brewing head again and repeat step "2" to complete the cleaning.
  4. Remember to discard the first cup of coffee after cleaning to ensure that there is no powder left and resolved in the product.
  5. Clean the product following the steps above once a day, which will prolong the life of product.
