LOD = -Lift O Distance, when you speak of the Lift O Distance of the mouse, this means the point where the mouse stops tracking after you take it in your hand.

Polling rate = the detection frequency is measured in Hz. If the mouse has a query rate of 125 Hz, it reports its position 125 times per second, so every 8 milliseconds, to the computer. A frequency of 500 Hz means that the mouse reports its position to the computer every 2 milliseconds.

There is also a button that adjusts the high DPI frequency of the seven available modes.
