Top Tips
1. Patches can lose stickiness on re-sticking; try to get it right first go
2. Need to cut your patch to fit? Use your sharpest scissors
3. Need the neatest professional finish? Try our Premium patches with the pressed edge designed for a seamless finish
4. Even if the hole is not centrally placed, line up the patch as if it was for a meant-to-be-there finish
5. Use our long 150cmx10cm patches to cover large awkward spaces by overlapping strips for a very effective, strong and attractive repair
Top Tips
1. Take care over bumpy seams and folds - a patch should follow the contours of the fabric beneath like this. Gaps can let air under the patch which can dry out the glue
2. Make sure your patch is big enough to cover the damage AND enough stable undamaged surface for the patch to stick to. A poorly applied patch puts undue stress on the bonding
3. Mix and Match leather and suede finishes and colours to turn an unhappy accident into a feature.

1. Our MastaHide Leathers and Suedes are made in the EU from organic and vegan materials. MastaPlasta Leather has a natural-grain finish like luxury leather, while MastaHide Suede is velvety. Both are soft and supple
2. Our patches come with a yellow release paper on the back. a) This can make our fabrics feel stiff out of the box. Please be assured this is just due to the backing
b) We do occasionally get people thinking they have ordered a yellow patch by mistake... no judgment :) But please make sure you turn it over if you think you have been sent a yellow patch
