This AC power charger is designed for use with the Nintendo Wii U GamePad controller and provides a simple replacement for a lost or damaged original adapter. It plugs directly into an Australian or New Zealand wall outlet and connects to the charging port on a compatible Wii U GamePad, so you can keep playing while the battery charges.

The charger accepts a wide-range input of 100–240V AC at 50/60Hz, making it suitable for local 220–240V mains power and many overseas voltages when used with the correct plug type. On the output side it delivers a regulated 4.75V DC at up to 1.6A, matching the power requirements of controllers compatible with Nintendo Wii U GamePad charging specifications.

An AU 3-pin mains plug is fitted as standard, so there is no need for separate travel adapters when using it in Australia or New Zealand. The integrated cable is approximately 2 metres long, giving you plenty of reach from the power point to your couch or TV unit so you can position the GamePad comfortably while it charges.

The charger uses a durable grey plastic housing and a thick insulated cable with moulded strain relief at both ends to help resist kinks, bending and everyday wear.
