How to apply By Vixi Press-On False Nails like a Pro!

Step 1: Clean & Cleanse

  1. Start off by washing your hands and nails.
  2. Dry them off well paying extra attention to ensure your cuticles and nails are dry.
  3. Remove any traces of old nail polish or glues on the surface of your nails. This ensures that the nail glue lasts and does not bubble up.

Step 2: Size your Falsies

  1. Remove false nails from their packaging and measure each one against your fingernails to find the best fit for your nails.
  2. Arrange them in order since this makes the process of applying your nails easier.
  3. Be sure to file them if required to ensure a proper fit.

Step 3: Prime your Nails

  1. Place your new falsie on your natural nail, depending on your new shape and length you may need to clip your natural nails down to the to ensure they fit nicely with your new false nail style.
  2. Once that is done, gently push your cuticles back with a cuticle pusher to get rid of any dead skin and clear up space for your false nail to go on neatly.
  3. Next, lightly buff the surface of your natural nails with the file included with your nail glue. This roughens up the surface to help the false nail stick better.
  4. The final step in prepping your nails is to cleanse your nails from any oils with our Prep & Polish or an alcohol based wipe. This clears the nail of any residue to ensure that your false nails stick for a lasting finish.

Step 4: Glue & Stick

  1. Start by applying an even thin layer of glue onto your entire natural nail and the false nail bed.
  2. Align your false nail with your cuticle and press it down onto your nail bed. Hold it there and apply light pressure for 5 seconds to ensure that the false nail sticks properly onto your nail bed.
  3. Paint on your favourite nail colour and you’re ready to show off your insta-worthy nails!

Pro Tip: Apply your nails to your dominant hand first since it has more control and makes it easier to apply to nails to the second hand.
