Setting up your Brooder Hen
4 Simple Steps
1. Plug in your Brooder Hen and allow it to heat up (this may take approx. 30-60 mins as a result of our unique heating method for the heat-diffuser plate). Once warm the heat emitted by the plate will be consistent.
2. Set the brooder down on a flat surface and introduce the chicks to the plate
3. Ensure that the plate barely touches their feathers/fluff. Their natural instinct to keep warm will kick in and they will likely snuggle together.
4. Be sure to check on your chicks daily to ensure the height of the Brooder Hen is correct and adjust manually as needed.
