This set comprises The Tide Is Turning, a studio album released in 1988, and Back To The S*T, a live album from the following year. Jackson's album covers frequently appear on "worst ever" lists, notably E. S. P. (Extra Sexual Persuasion) which features Jackson peering into a crystal ball that accentuates her cleavage. Her vocal performances are often distinguished by long, humorous, and explicit spoken sections in her music, which she started doing on stage to get the attention of the audience. She has also recorded songs in disco or dance music style and even some country songs. She is not related to the Jackson family of Jackson 5 fame.
