• Use a torch to light the Ptex candle, keep the candle very close to the metal scraper to keep it from oxidize, so that the drip candle can maintain very good quality. Hold at a 45° angle about 1" above the gouge (you want a blue flame, not yellow,adjust height to achieve this. drip the candle into the gouge carefully. Wait for the candle to cool down(about 10-15 minutes) after the gouge in filled. then use a metal scraper to remove the excess ptex candle.
• WARNING!!!They burn extra-hot (in excess of 970°F) which helps consume some of the undesirable black carbon created while the candle burns.
