Side Bowl

The Side Bowl stacks on top of the other two bowls where it is uninsulated, and is ideal for foods meant to be kept at room temperature. Fill it with crackers, nuts, fruit and more. (14 oz. capacity)

Main Bowl

The Main Bowl stacks in the middle of the other two and is insulated by the Outer Container so food stays hot or cold for hours. Fill with chilled pasta salad, hot rice, or whatever entree you prefer. (27 oz. capacity)

Soup Bowl

The leak-resistant Soup Bowl stacks beneath the other two bowls and is insulated by the Outer Container so food stays hot or cold for hours. Fill with hot or cold soup, salsa, or dip. (9 oz. capacity)

Outer Container

The washable Outer Container features a nonstick coated interior for ease of cleaning and two clips that secure the lid.

Chopsticks with Holder

Chopsticks can be stored sanitarily in the included Holder. Chopsticks with Holder attach to the Classic Stainless Lunch Jar for convenience.

The vacuum insulated Outer Container keeps food in the Main and Soup Bowls hot or cold, while the insulated lid on the Main Bowl prevents thermal transfer to the Side Bowl, which is uninsulated for room temperature foods.

What is Vacuum Insulation?

Vacuum means the air between the outer and inner layers of stainless steel has been removed to create a vacuum insulation. It blocks heat from transferring through air (conduction). Zojirushi vacuum insulation also features a copper or aluminum layer tightly wrapped around the outside of the inner stainless steel layer. This copper or aluminum layer reflects heat (radiation), further minimizing the temperature change of your drink. Lastly, heat is blocked from escaping though the opening (convection) with the insulated lid on the Main Bowl.
