How is working without batteries or electricity？

The VODA stove fan runs without batteries,cords or electricity,it generates its own power by the heat from the stove surface.The base of the fan transmits the heat to TEG units, and TEG units convert the heat energy into energy to drive the fan to spin.

The fan spins when the temperature is reached around185 °F. The hotter the base of the fan gets, the faster the fan turns, and the more air the fan circulates into the room.It will slow down and stop automatically as the stove cools down.

Attention:

The stove fan is designed for usage on freestanding stoves with a normal surface temperature of between 185°F - 660°F. Temperatures above this range may damage the fan and the TEG units.

The stove fan base and blade are made of anodized aluminum which will not rust or corrode. Just position the stove fan on a smooth flat surface of your stove top, near the side or back of the stovepipe. It will start to rotate when the stove surface gets hot enough.

This wood stove fan starts to spin when the temperature is around 55°C/ 131°F, and it works most efficiently when the temperature gets around 250°C/482°F. Please avoid using the stove fan at high temperature continuously to ensure a longer life time.

  2. To move or carry the fan, always use the extendable handle while wearing gloves.
