The Cat-7 Ethernet patch cable features two shielded RJ45 connectors on each end, each with 50-micron gold-plated contact pins. Each individual twisted pair comes shielded with Aluminum Mylar foil and then is bundled together with an 85% tinned copper braid shield. The result: considerably improved noise resistance, protection against electromagnetic interference/radio-frequency interference (EMI/RFI), and almost complete elimination of alien crosstalk (AXT).
