Werewolf the Party Game

Werewolves are terrorizing your village. You must find them and eliminate them as soon as possible. Each day you, the Villagers, will hold a town meeting to vote for a suspected Werewolf to eliminate. Get it right and you might survive. Get it wrong, and you’re in danger because every night the Werewolves come out to feed on another sleeping Villager... There are two teams; Werewolves and Villagers and the game is divided into two phases; night and day. The Villagers win if they eliminate all the Werewolves and the Werewolves win if they equal or outnumber the Villagers. You can substitute Villager and Werewolf cards with optional role cards. The optional roles add more depth and excitement to the game.

Werewolf Basics

Werewolf

This is your standard Werewolf role. The Moderator wakes the Werewolves each night to select a player to kill. The Werewolf players must all agree by silently pointing to their target.

Villager

Most players in each game will be standard Villagers. The Villagers have no special ability. Their goal is to rid their town of the Werewolves.

Seer

The Moderator wakes the Seer each night to select a player to identify. The Moderator will signal to the Seer if the selected player is a Werewolf. The Seer must be careful about revealing the learned identities as the Werewolves are sure to kill the Seer the next night.

Some of the Many Additional Roles

Doctor

The Moderator wakes the Doctor each night to select a player to save. The selected player will not die if selected by the Werewolves that night. The Doctor may select himself but cannot select the same player two nights in a row.

Zombie Wolf

The Moderator wakes the Zombie Wolf each night and asks if he or she wants to convert anyone. Once per game the Zombie Wolf may select a player to convert to a Werewolf. If a selection is made, the Moderator will secretly tap the selected player to let them know they are now a Werewolf.

Sorcerer

The Moderator wakes the Sorcerer each night to select a player to identify. The Moderator will signal to the Sorcerer if the selected player is the Seer.

Child

A Villager who may wake up at night to spy as the Werewolves choose their victim. If the Werewolves see the Child awake at night, they may point out the Child to the Moderator. The Child dies instantly of fright.

Vigilante

Taking the law into his own hands, the moderator wakes the vigilante each night to select a player to kill.
