The Chemex filter differs from traditional filters by its fine pores, thickness and strength. The fine-pored paper holds even more sediment and coffee oils than traditional filters. Thus, the coffee retains its aroma and is particularly clear. The thickness of the paper allows the water to flow more slowly and therefore more aromas to develop. Chemex filters are conical in shape, so they fit perfectly into the Chemex coffee carafe and create a balanced and unique taste when preparing.
