The HD 26 PRO are professional quality headphones designed for audio monitoring in radio and television broadcast production. Because of their balanced frequency response and exceptional detail they are also well suited for demanding applications in recording studios and with audiophiles. The closed back, on ear design delivers high passive noise attenuation. Soft ear cushions and low weight guarantee outstanding wearing comfort even in long term use. The 100-ohm HD 26 PRO has high output capability (128db @ 1kHz) but is equipped with ActiveGard to protect from sudden audio peaks more than 105 dB. The ActiveGard function can be activated or deactivated. As with all Sennheiser professional level headphones, the HD 26 PRO has user replaceable cables and ear cushions. The cable is terminated with a 3.5mm jack and a screw on 6.3mm adapter is included.
