Reflects sunlight, suppresses ultraviolet rays, visible light, and infrared transmission.
In addition, it prevents external heat from being transferred into the garment, and prevents the transmission of infrared rays (which causes sunburn) in the sun.
This increases the effectiveness of sunburn protection.
