Accordingly, AHAVA scientists strive to impact the environment minimally as we create our formulas. The pioneering water return process at the AHAVA manufacturing facility reflects our eco-consciousness by using local flora to filter waste and restore clean water to our desert home. It’s a further expression of our belief in a balance between nature and science.

OUR ORIGINS

It all started with a team dedicated to studying, protecting, and celebrating the wonders of nature. Based in modern-day Israel, the Dead Sea region is rich in resources; scientists sought greater understanding of how minerals and botanicals could benefit the skin, giving rise to AHAVA in 1988.
