  1. Step 1

    Attach both bayonet filters to the mask according to the arrows shown.

  2. Step 2

    Pull the head strap all the way through until the buckle rest against the cap of the half mask.

  3. Step 3

    Put the head straps around your neck.

  4. Step 4

    Position the mask over your mouth and nose and the head straps to the back of your head.

  5. Step 5

    Tighten the ends of the straps until the half mask fits comfortably and tightly against your face.

  • How do I choose the right size for me?

    Measure the length between the the bridge of the nose and the chin. Our half masks come in sizes S (8.5-9.5cm), M (9.0-12.5cm; fits most customers) and L (12.0-14.5cm). Illustrated instructions can be found amongst the product images.

  • What is the shelflife of the ABEK1 Hg P3 bayonet filters included in the set?

    The expiration date of the filters is reached 4 years after manufacturing. You will also notice the need for replacement by the increase in breathing resistance (due to particles), the timing of which varies depending on the application.

  • Do the bayonet filters provide enough protection to work safely with epoxy?

    The A2P3 (included in the paint spraying set) and ABEK1 Hg P3 bayonet filters (included in the chemistry set) offer enough protection when working with epoxy.

  • What certificates does the half mask and the bayonet filters have?

    The X-plore 3300 mask is certified according to the standard EN140:1998, and all Dräger bayonet filters are certified according to EN 14387:2008. In addition, the mask and filters comply with EU directive 2016/425 for personal protective equipment.

  • What material is the the half mask made of?

    The body of the mask and the head straps of the X-plore 3300 are made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polypropylene. The headgear is composed of polyester, elastodiene, latex and cotton.
