Ball and pintle hitch combination

A CURT ball and pintle hitch combo is a cross between a ball hitch and pintle hitch, serving the purpose of a pintle hook, as well as a standard trailer hitch ball mount. CURT pintle hitch combinations come with standard tow ball sizes and can be used to couple to a trailer coupler or a lunette ring. They are available for bolting onto a pintle mount or installing in a trailer hitch receiver.

Pintle hook hitch

A CURT pintle hook is a standard pintle hitch towing option. CURT pintle hooks are constructed from solid steel and rated to tow heavy-duty trailers. CURT pintle hook hitches are available to mount onto one of our pintle mounts or to install on a standard receiver hitch. Each CURT pintle hook hitch comes with a locking arm for dependable towing security.

Pintle mount

CURT pintle mounts allow you to attach a pintle hook or ball and pintle hitch combination onto your trailer hitch receiver. We offer basic pintle mounts for simple attachment, as well as adjustable pintle mounts for easier leveling of the trailer. We also offer deep drop pintle hitches for large pickup trucks and lifted trucks.

Lunette ring

A CURT lunette ring or lunette eye is the coupler-side of a pintle hitch connection. CURT pintle rings come in standard sizes to fit our pintle hooks and pintle ball hitch combinations. We have fixed bolt-on options and vertically adjustable lunette rings for level towing with larger trucks. CURT pintle lunette rings are constructed from solid forged steel for maximum strength.

Pintle hitches for large trucks

To give your large or lifted truck the proper equipment for level towing, CURT offers deep drop pintle hitch options. You can choose from a pintle hook or pintle ball hitch combination.

Two towing options

Each CURT ball and pintle hitch combination offers two coupling options. The standard trailer ball can be coupled to a trailer coupler or a lunette ring. This adds versatility to your tow vehicle, and the trailer ball can be interchanged to fit different size couplers.

Locking arm

CURT ball and pintle hook hitches are equipped with a locking arm that closes over the trailer ball, securing the lunette eye connection. The locking arm is easy to operate with an integrated handle, and each pintle hitch combo comes with a safety pin for added security.

Forged steel construction

To ensure maximum towing strength and confidence on the job, CURT pintle hook hitch combinations are constructed from solid forged steel. Our receiver pintle hitches and pintle mount hitches are both constructed this way to provide dependability for your truck and trailer.

Durable corrosion resistance

CURT pintle hitches are covered in a highly durable black powder coat finish to give them excellent resilience to the outdoor elements. Exposure to rain, dirt, UV rays and road grime can quickly rust out your towing equipment. CURT pintle hooks and ball hitch combinations are finished for lasting corrosion resistance.
