The hansgrohe iBox universal base set has been an established product for many years now. It forms the perfect foundation for concealed installation and modern feel-good bathrooms, as it makes installing all hansgrohe standard and thermostatic mixer solutions ultra-simple and enables the tap technology to disappear out of sight in the wall. So the iBox universal creates more space in the shower, enabling users to enjoy the beauty of water.

One iBox, many options

More than 200 tap and pre-fab shower sets from hansgrohe and AXOR can be attached to the iBox universal. This creates extra flexibility, as the next time you want to install a new concealed installation solution from hansgrohe, it can be simply fitted to the iBox universal, without having to prise open the wall. Modernisation couldn’t be simpler.

Other benefits

• Easy installation: the iBox universal features a symmetrical design. All connections are the same – the only important aspect to note is cold water pipes are attached on the right, with hot water pipes opposite them
• Solutions for thick and thin walls: Base plates (80 mm to 108 mm as standard) are sold separately for a range of installation depths
• Waterproof: Specialised sealing foil protects the masonry perfectly from moisture on all sides
• Sound insulation: The function block is positioned in the iBox universal to help prevent the sound from water-bearing parts penetrating the masonry or the tiles
