This terrarium halogen lamp produces a pleasant heat radiation and at the same time provides optimal light that allows your reptiles to feel like they are in the great outdoors. With the UV halogen spot you can also get a piece of real reptile health into the terrarium. A very good colour rendering index (CRI) of > Ra 99 ensures true-to-life reproduction of colours of your terrarium favourites and they are optimally supported with vital UV-A. With this sensationally high colour rendering index, your reptiles literally "bloom" to their full colour splendour with this light and the UV halogen spot creates bright and warm places for sunbathing. The natural perception as well as the appetite and the willingness to mate are significantly increased by an adequate UV supply. You don't need a ballast - but this terrarium halogen bulb belongs in an E27 porcelain/ceramic socket. The SOLAR RAPTOR Reptile ClampLamp is ideally suited - it can be quickly and easily connected without tools and has an additional protective grille. Note: For reptiles that need "pure" sunlight (i.e. the vital UV-A and UV-B radiations), you must use another light source, e.g. our Solar Raptor HID or our SOLAR RAPTOR MVL mixed light spotlight.
