Why are paint strainers important?

Strainers are designed to remove flakes, dust & impurities from paints and stains. While painting, these unwanted particles can easily stick to a paint brush or paint roller, creating an uneven surface. These particles can also clog spraying equipment- creating costly repairs.

Bag Strainers

Trimaco's Bag strainers are great for all types of paints, stains and liquids. These strainers are designed to remove dried flakes, lumps, filaments and other dust particles. Bag strainers are ideal or 1-5 gallons of paint, and are designed with double stitched edges for durability. Available in plain top and elastic top options.

EZ-Strainer

Trimaco's EZ-Strainer has all of the great qualities of the elastic top bag strainers, but includes an elastic opening for a spray pick-up tube. This allows continuous straining while you spray!

Cone Strainers

Cone strainers are ideal for removing impurities in latex and oil based paints. Unlike the bag strainer, cone strainers are not designed to fit around the edge of a paint bucket. We recommend using a cone strainer holder to filter paint above paint bucket.

Pump Strainers

Pump strainers are used to filter unwanted particles, specifically in spray equipment to prevent clogging. Strainers include an easy to use drawstring for added convenience.
