About us
75 Years of Archery Excellence
Bohning celebrates 75 years of serving the archery community in 2021. Bohning has engineered, manufactured its products from the same location east of Lake City, Michigan since 1946. The company was started by Rollin Bohning, who was a chemist and archer. He developed many adhesive products while working with Doug Easton and Fred Bear throughout the 1940’s, 50’s, and 60’s. His daughter Martha and son-in-law Colby Johnson took over the operations in the 1970’s and the product line continued to expand, especially in bowhunting products. Since the late 1980’s Bohning has developed and launched many new innovative products. Our seasoned and experienced associates have expanded the Bohning line to include vanes, nocks, fletching jigs, and many other archery accessories.
