Q: How to avoid breaking the backflow protector during setup with the flange?

A: Turn to insert the backflow protector into and off from the flange with care. DO NOT push in or rock straight in and out with force. It will break.

Q: Does this kit include bottles?

A: No. This kit does not include bottles. However, you can use original Spectra bottles, Maymom wide-mouth bottles or Avent bottles.

Q: Where can I find the size marking on the flange?

A: It is marked at the end of the nipple tunnel.

Q: How do I clean them?

A: Disassemble all parts. Clean them with soapy water, and rinse with tap water. Sterilize all parts with water steam for 15 minutes or in boiling water for 5 minutes. When using boiling water, make sure to cover all parts with water to avoid melting them.

Q: Are they dishwasher safe?

A: You may dishwash flanges, tubing, and backflow protectors on top rack. However, we do not suggest dishwashing the duckbill valves. Please handwash the valves with care instead.

Q: How do I choose the flange sizes?

A: Since your nipples will enlarge after pumping, measure the diameter of your nipples AFTER a pumping session. Do not include the areola. Refer to size selection guide in the product photos at the top of this page.
