Function:
The cable is a 5V USB connector to a 4-Pin Molex fan cable that allows you to power most case fans through a USB connection while using either 4-Pin Molex power adapter cables for Case fans are working.
The starting voltage of the fan must be 5V or less (fans with a higher starting voltage will not work).
The 12V fan operates at a reduced voltage of 5V for quiet operation.
