This year's fashion trend for headwear in Japan are military hats!

Also known as cadet caps, patrol cap, field cap or army hats, the design came about during the Korean War for military personell to use when a helmet was not required. The style of hat became particularly popular worldwide after being worn by Fidel Castro.
